last time i was ranting about how i feel that i am starting to get too caught up my own comfort zone & that my drawings are losing their 'life'... so that gave me a terrible art block & i just wasn't able 2 draw anything for a long time...

& worse thing is... it also affected my other activity too which is sewing... doll clothes or real clothes... i just lost my mood to anything with my hands...

i was like oh great... i have 2 do at least one to earn some money to eat & pay my bills... but... i guess when u're out of it u r out of it... so what else can i do... but stop doing anything... for a while of course...

so i can't draw & i can't sew... what else can i do...? i decided to do the thing that i get 2 do the least... which is... READING... yeah i have a ton of magazines & mangas that i bought but never had the chance 2 read... so i spent the few inspiration-less weeks  just reading them especially a few hong kong titles that i have been purchasing in full sets from retailers...

some r good & some r not (which makes me totally get y they were sold so cheap) but it does take me back 2 my schooling days when they r huge hit as compared to now... all i can say is the old stuff r the best... it's a bit sad to c manhuas degrade to what they r today... they were so great back in the days...

so finally today a little voice inside said hey it's time to draw again... & so i picked up my pencil & paper & continued with my adoptable oriental girls... & hey I CAN ACTUALLY DRAW THEM...!!!!!

& like i said before... every time i go through a bad art block... it's just a sign that my drawing skill is going to change & improve... & already i am drawing a bit differently from before... i am also regaining the 'softness' in my lines... i been feeling that they were starting to get too 'hard' & 'uniformed'... 1 of the thing that people notice about my lines is how i always vary them in thickness & size... i don't depend on my pens to make different lines but only follow my own intuition on what size to make (which is y it's hard for me to really teach people my techniques)

anyway... u will be able to see the changes once i post up some new drawings soon... it's not like my drawings undergoes a huge change... my drawings still look virtually the same with some subtle improvements ... lets see if you notice them... ^^

oh yeah, talking about adoptables... like i said i am making a few more of them in between work... currently i am not accepting early bookings because they were work in progress & the end result may b different from the first sketches that i posted before... & u may not like them later... so i guess this is a heads up for those who been thinking of adopting them... they will be coming in a few days... ^^

i hope to sell them & earn some funds to get myself a digital camera... then i can snap more photos of my creations other than drawings... so i hope u can help me with this... ^^

okay... that's a lot of rantings... what else...

oh... has it been getting hotter where u r...? the weather here is almost unbearable... blazing hot every day... it's been getting so hot that i get headaches  just from the heat...

other than that... thank you very very very much for all the birthday wishes... yay... i am getting older this year... (urghhh... >.>) no celebrations though we were all busy... but u guys made the day special for me...

i got all kinds of 'cakes'... now i know DA got a lot of them... haha... XD
